Investment Opportunities

From ICT to tourism and agribusiness, Rwanda offers incentives for local and foreign investors.

7 min read

Rwanda positions itself as a services and logistics hub for the region. Priority sectors include ICT and fintech, agro-processing, tourism and conferencing, manufacturing, affordable housing, and healthcare.

Registered investors can access incentives such as preferential corporate tax rates for exporters and certain headquarters operations, accelerated depreciation, and facilitation through the Rwanda Development Board one-stop centre.

Practical due diligence still matters: understand market size in a country of about fourteen million people, plan for regional export via the EAC and AfCFTA, and budget for skills development in your workforce.
