Listings are added by the Menya Rwanda desk after the seller's details are checked. We remove anything we cannot verify.
Standard listings cost nothing. Featured slots are pinned to the top of the marketplace and their category.
Phone, WhatsApp and an enquiry form on each listing. Deals are between you and the seller.
Every page has a report link. Sold, wrong or suspicious listings come down the same day.
Six rules before money moves
Never pay a deposit before you have seen it
Not the house, not the plot, not the car. Photos are easy; keys and titles are not.
Meet in daylight, in public
For cars and goods, meet at a busy petrol station or the seller's registered business.
Check the paper against the person
Title, logbook or company certificate should carry the seller's name. If it doesn't, ask why.
Use a notary for property
Property transfers in Rwanda go through a notary and the land registry. Anyone rushing you past that step is a red flag.
Mobile money leaves a trail
If you must pay, use a traceable channel with the seller's real name and keep the confirmation.
Featured does not mean endorsed
A Featured badge means the seller paid for visibility. Do the same checks you would for any listing.
How do I list something?
Use the Advertise button at the top of the marketplace. Tell us what you are selling, where it is and how buyers should reach you; we add the listing after a quick check and send you the link.
Is listing free?
Yes. Standard listings are free. Featured listings, pinned to the top with a badge, are a paid option described on the Advertise page.
Do you take a commission?
No. We do not handle payments or contracts between buyers and sellers, and we take no commission.
How long does a listing stay up?
Until you tell us it is sold, filled or withdrawn — or until we can no longer reach you to confirm it is still available.
Can I list from outside Rwanda?
Yes, as long as the property, vehicle, business or job is in Rwanda and you can prove you own or represent it.
What about scams?
Read the safety panel on this page. We check sellers before publishing but we cannot vouch for every transaction; keep your own checks.
