The plan

Hour by hour in Rubavu

Rwanda's beach town: a sand-and-palm shoreline on Lake Kivu, hot springs along the water, and the northern end of the Congo Nile Trail. It is where Kigali goes for the weekend, so book ahead on Fridays.
